A senior residence project that balances the need for this critical housing type with the preservation and transformation of a beloved community open space. The proposed building located in the Nolita neighborhood in Manhattan is meant to serve as a background to the new landscape design. The project was designed as principal at Think! Architecture in collaboration with Melk! Landscape Architecture.
